The face of health care is changing. Population shifts, a rise in chronic disease, advances in technological innovation and an informed public are some of the reasons for why this change is happening. Health research plays a vital role in understanding how these and other dynamics have an impact on Canadians, and play a role in our health care system for the future. The views and experiences of people from across the country who interact with the system – patients, citizens, families and caregivers – are essential for guiding improvements through investment in research.
Join us for a conversation about the future of health care in Canada. Share your views on how we can optimize your health and well-being through health care system research investment. Experts will be on hand to discuss their experience in citizen and patient engagement in health research, as well as perspectives on what matters most to Canadians.
